This is our hand made functional series blades. These economical katanas are not quite as wide and thick as our other swords but are still fully fuctional and very sharp. The blades were created using high carbon steel that was hammered out evenly for a consistent hardness throughout the blade. The sword is hand honed razor sharp and can be dissassembled.
This sword measures 40.25" inches overall with the sheath and 39" inches without. The sword features a 27" inch tempered carbon steel blade with blood groove. This razor sharp katana has a 1-1/8" wide blade with beginning thickness of 0.263" to a point thickness of 0.198" thickness. The handle has imitation Ray skin wrapped grip & brown cotton cord wrap and steel fittings. The Tsuba is made out of copper with a very unique design. Complete with hardwood scabbard and sword wrap.
